Piccola Orchestra Gagarin was born after a concert in Barcelona on March 2010.
Their second concert was recorded and became their first album “Platos Combinados”. The band’s name is a tribute to the soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin -the first human to journey into outer space- since the trio shares the same spirit for exploration and risk. Traditional russian and sardinian folk melodies serve as bonus material for this improvised free-form music band.
